Dee Dee and Bill Greer and the Alpacas of Virginia at Rivanna River Farm welcome you to our web site. We are full time farmers and the welfare of our animals is of utmost importance to us. Our alpacas receive the best care possible to insure healthy breeding stock, cria and fiber animals. Through aquisition of the best bloodlines from across the country, we are selectively breeding for top quality white and dark colored Huacaya Alpacas. Our goal is to breed for fine, high quality fiber on densely covered animals. We've had 24 births here on our farm. As of January 2007, we have a colorful herd of 25 Huacaya Alpacas. As Virginia alpaca breeders, we are dedicated to bringing bloodlines not generally found on the East coast to our breeding program. We are presently offering breedings to our Award Winning males. Several of our males are Snowmass bred - Snowmass Angel Gabriel - a Full Peruvian, Augusto grandson - Snowmass UltraElite, an Accoyo Elite son. In Spring 2006, Sir Peruvian Accoyo Killian, our Full Accoyo, Champion began his breeding career. While still building our herd, we are now offering a few select alpacas for sale. We have proven production females as well maiden and quality breeding males for sale. We can put together a great package to start or grow your herd.
